Kathleen "Kay" Lillian (DeVoss) Dascher-Knox

Kathleen (Kay) Lillian Dascher-Knox (DeVoss), 75, peacefully passed away on All Saints Day, Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born on March 18, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Richard and the late Lillian DeVoss. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank J. Knox and her children, Katharine Ann Dascher Walker and her husband Stephen, Kenneth Dascher and his wife Jamie, Rogelio Knox and his wife Brandie, Anthony Knox, Carrie Knox, Frank Knox Jr. and her daughter-in-law Caroline Dascher. Also forever remembered by her grandchildren, Stephen, Kevin and Stephanie, Patrick and Breahna, Andrew and Debbie, Kristina and John, Nathan, Megan, Emily  and also her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Zachary, Dillon, Haliyah and Keilan. Dear sister of Patricia and Joseph Doucet, Elta and William Field, Richard DeVoss and his late wife Patricia, the late Helen Leo and her husband Charlie, the late Ivin B. DeVoss, the late Arline Scritchfield and her late husband Bill and the late Thomas DeVoss and his late wife Linda. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Kathleen worked as a master barber and for many years owned her own shop. 

She unconditionally loved her family and was also a loving foster mother to many children. Kathleen was able to see the beauty and love in everyone and everything and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 9:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden, MA 02148 followed by interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
