Laura (Bedney) Owen

OWEN, Laura M. (Bedney)- Of Malden, November 27th. Devoted wife of the late Alvin J. Owen. Beloved mother of Pamela MacPherson and her husband David and Randy Owen all of Malden. Daughter of the late Harold and Blanche (Gedarewicz) Bedney. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Joly of Wakefield, Meghan Joly of Georgetown and Daniel Joly and his wife Kirsten of NH. Also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren, Aiden, Ambrose and Wylie. In accordance with her wishes, family visitation, funeral service concluding with interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn will take place on Friday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Laura's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shiners. Donation information and links are provided below. Prior to retirement she was a district manager in the shoe industry. And for many years was a Drum Corp. Mom for the 27th Lancers.
