Ryan, Michael- Of Lynn, formerly of Chelsea, June 7th. Devoted husband of Cheryl A. (Biscoe). Son of the late Leo F. Jr. and Patricia (Penney) Ryan and son-in-law of Marilyn and Ronald Crain of Lynn. Brother of Leo F. Ryan, III and his wife Linda of Georgetown, Nancy Rencricca and her husband Nick of Groton. Loving father of Tara Arsenault of Revere and the late Justin Arsenault and grandfather of Jazmin Alexis Johnson of Revere. Also survived by his beloved canine companion, Ricky, many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as many, many, many friends. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, Chelsea on Friday, June 11th at 10 AM. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to Church, parking is available in the parking lot directly behind the church on Harvard Street. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Malden, 63 years ago and growing up in Chelsea, Mike was a resident of Lynn for many years. A 1976 graduate of Malden Catholic High School, he continue his education at Merrimack College.. A proud member of Laborers Union Local 223, he was a member and past Grand Knight of Chelsea Council # 83 Knights of Columbus and member of the Everett-Saugus Elks. Prior to his retirement a year and a half ago, he was foreman and superintendent at Trevi-Icos, East Coast Slurry and Hub Foundations. An avid Red Sox fan, he enjoyed and loved his back porch were he took in and marveled at the nightly sunsets.
