Sandra Lee (Ladd) Dow

Sandra Ladd passed away in the town she loved, surrounded by the people she loved on January 2nd, 2021. Sandra’s family meant  everything to her. She is survived by her children Melissa Ford, Angela McCormick, Nadine Theodorou, Donna Dow Kiman, Billy Dow, and Zachary Demergis. Her sister Pauline Reid. Her grandchildren Maria Demergis, Athena Demergis, Sandra Demergis,  Ava Ford, Kyle Trask, Sophia Theodorou, Photis Theodorou, Nick Theodorou,  Casey Todd, and Madison Kiman. Her nieces and nephews, Sherry Reid, Allen Reid, Carrie Reid, Jeremy Reid, Tiffany Poplin, Linda Ames, Ronnie Ames, Brian Ames, Paul Ames Jr, Donald Ames,  and AJ Ames. Her many great grandchildren who were her life. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Paul and Bertha Ladd of Byfield, her sister Barbara Ames, her nephews Paul and Richard Ames, and her beloved bird Oscar. Sandra was raised in Byfield Ma. A town that remained in her heart all of her life.  Sandra’s love for horror films was something she passed on to many of her loved ones. She loved getting lost in a book, reading was her favorite past time. She loved the Red Sox. She loved animals and had many pets throughout her life, her Parrot Oscar was with her over 40 years and brought her much joy. Christmas and Fourth of July parties growing up were made more special by her. She loved gathering the whole family to the home, and creating memories that span generations and will never be forgotten. The love in our family flows strong and deep, she gave all that loved her a trail of memories to keep.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private. A celebration of life will be held in the future when it is safe to gather.
