Louise Rogers Obituary

Louise E. (Perkins) Rogers, age 91, formerly of Malden, passed away in Jacksonville FL on Monday, October 1st.  She was the wife of the late Starlin “Ed” Rogers and mother of the late Carol P. Hawk.  Born in Malden  on  December 25th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. Perkins and the late Louise E. (O’Leary) Perkins.  Louise graduated from Billerica High School and was a resident of Jacksonville FL for over 30 years.  A devoted wife, a loving mother and a friend to all, she enjoyed gatherings of family and friends and pursed her passion for ballroom dancing.  She is survived by her son Walter L. Rogers and his wife June of Tucson AZ.

Funeral from  the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) Malden on Friday, October 19th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St. Malden at 10 AM.  Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Terrace of Jacksonville, Attn: Business Office Manager, 10680 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville FL 32257.  Include note “In memory of Louise Rogers for activities”.
