JOHNSON, Paul E., Sr.- Of Malden, formerly of Saugus, Revere and Charlestown, unexpectedly, February 23rd. Devoted husband of Janice M. "Janie" (Keeley). Beloved father of Paul E. Johnson, Jr. and Kara D'Eon and her late husband James of Saugus. Beloved uncle and "second father" of Brendan O'Brien and his wife Ashley of Lynn and Jared O'Brien and his girlfriend Paige of Lynnfield. Loving Papa to Ava and Landon O'Brien. Son of the late Harry and Catherine (O'Rourke) Johnson. Brother of Harry Johnson and his wife Carol, Richard Johnson and his wife Marianne and Janet "Janie" Johnson all of Saugus, Diane Sullivan and her late husband Jerimiah "Sully" of Winthrop and the late Kenneth Johnson and his late wife Patsy and Robert Johnson. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, February 28th from 4-8 PM. Committal Services will be private. Late 34 year employee of the Boston Globe, United States Army Veteran and member of the Saugus VFW Post and Revere American Legion.
