MULCAHY, Steven J., Sr.- Of Malden, formerly of Medford, unexpectedly, March 28th. Husband of Denise M. (Stewart). Devoted father of Malden Police Dept. Detective Steven J. Mulcahy, Jr. and his wife Sevi of West Peabody, Mariah Mulcahy of Dorchester, Nicholas Mulcahy of Malden, Connor Mulcahy and his fiancée Christina of Arlington and Erin Mulcahy of Malden. Beloved brother of Patricia White and her husband Henry and Laurie Mastone and her husband Joseph all of Tewksbury, Christine Vinci and her husband Michael of Salem, NH and the late Michael and Richard Mulcahy and his surviving wife Margaret of Medford. Cherished grandfather of Adrianna, Mila and Michael Mulcahy. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, April 4th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St., Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Late owner of E.H. Born in Malden, growing up in Medford and graduate of the Medford Vocational Technical High School, Steve passed away from a cardiac condition unexpectedly at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford shortly after arrival. For over 30 years, he was the owner of E.H Whittier Co. Always the Maplewood Square guy, he would be a fixture with his children at Trafton Park. He was also active in the Malden Youth Baseball and Little League as a coach.
