DONOVAN, William C., Jr. – Of Malden, unexpectedly on March 9th.  Predeceased by his parents William C. Donovan, Sr. and Margaret Donovan of Malden and Windham, NH.  Devoted husband of Janice M. (Hennessey).  Beloved father of William C. Donovan, III and his wife Lindsay of Boston and Julie Donovan of Boston.  Loving “Grandfather” of Jack and Elle Donovan.  Brother of Patricia Dingivan and her late husband Bill of Saugus, Beth McCarthy and her husband Charles of Malden and Lois Trubiano and her husband George of Reading. 

Lifelong resident of Maplewood and former employee and proud union member of the Wakefield Police Department, Malden Police Department, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, and the TSA (Transportation Security Administration). 

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) Malden on Friday, March 16th from 4-8 PM and the interment services at Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden on Saturday, March 17th at 10 AM (attendees please meet at Carroll Funeral Home at 9:30AM). 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Boston Bruins Foundation, 100 Legends Way, Boston 02114 or Malden Youth Baseball, PO Box 145, Malden 02148.
