In Loving Memory of Christine Busi DeGiacomo

Christine Busi DeGiacomo passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Loving mother, Christine is survived by her daughter, Alexis DeGiacomo and her partner, Evan Kotowski. Christine is also survived by countless close friends who she truly considered family. Christine was the cherished daughter of Malden Police Sergeant Joseph G. Busi and Joan (Parcellin) Busi. She was a beloved niece and cherished cousin. Christine is also survived by dogs Ollie and Harley, and cat Lucy, whom she loved very much.

Christine grew up in Malden and graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield before receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Emmanuel College.  She created lifelong friendships in high school and college. She also made lasting friendships at both of her adult hometowns of Stoneham, MA and Hudson, NH.

Christine's vibrant personality and infectious smile endeared her to all who crossed her path. Her generosity touched countless lives. She was a friend who could always be relied upon, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. Christine possessed a remarkable ability to lift others up.  Her sincere concern for others’ well-being made her a cherished confidante to so many.

In her free time, Christine traveled countless times to her other home away from home, the beautiful island of Bermuda where she had friends, she considered family and was Auntie to many.

Christine's sudden departure has left a void that can never be filled. Her memory will live on through the love she shared, the kindness she embodied, and the positive impact she had on the lives of so many.  She will forever remain an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her and be loved by her.
