Edward was born in Somerville, MA and grew up in the surrounding area graduating from high school, relocating to Malden with his family and going on to work as a custodian at a power plant in Boston.
Edward, known affectionately as Papa Ed, was a sports enthusiast, skilled woodworker, great cook and most importantly a family man. His favorite thing to do was celebrate holidays with his family and teach his children and grandchildren the skills he had learned throughout life.  He will be greatly missed.
