Linda Ann Murphy

MURPHY, Linda Ann - Of Malden, June 21st. Beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully in her lifelong home in Malden, MA after an extended illness on June 21. Daughter of Ruth and Hugh Murphy (deceased). Linda was devoted to her children, Derek and Kerri and her granddaughter, Mabel.  Linda also leaves behind her adored brother, Tom Murphy, his wife Deborah Murphy and niece and nephew Erin Camire and Tom Murphy Jr, and respective families.  In addition to being an amazing and loving mother, Linda dedicated her life to the care of others as a nurse at the Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden.  A wake will be held at the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem St. (Maplewood Square)  Malden on Monday, July 6th from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend and must wear a mask, practice social distancing and are encouraged to greet the family, pay their respects and exit the funeral home to allow other guests to enter.  A small, private interment will occur at the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden at a later date. In Lieu of flowers if you wish, donations could be made to the Alzheimer's Association at the address listed below.
