COPSON, William J., Jr.- Of Melrose, formerly of Malden, unexpectedly, January 21st. Devoted husband of Susan C. (Cavignano). Beloved father of Christopher Copson and his wife Amanda of Lynn, Samantha and Matthew Copson both of Melrose. Loving son of Ann Behen of Malden and the late William J. Copson, Sr. and John Behen. Brother of Karen Pimental and her husband Roy of Malden, Christine Rinaldi and Kevin Gover of Malden, Sean Copson and his wife Teresa of Malden, Tracey Giglio and her husband William of Medford, Bryan Copson of Melrose and the late Cheryl Bombard and her surviving husband David of Malden, Mary Clapp and Daniel Copson. Lovingly survived by his granddaughter Ava Copson as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street on Monday, January 30th at 11 AM. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) Malden on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Committal Services will be private. Late United States Air Force Veteran.
