WORCESTER, JOHN B. "Barry" - Of Everett, formerly of Malden, entered into rest with his loving family at his side, November 10th. He is survived by his devoted wife Robin Colarusso of over 40 years, two daughters, Stephanie Ward and her husband Rich Ward of Manchester, NH and Lisa Worcester and her boyfriend Ray Murphy of East Bridgewater, MA. His loving sister, Donna Worcester of Malden, MA. Barry was also the proud grandfather to three grandchildren – Julia age 18, Benjamin age 12 and Patrick age 2.
Barry was born to the late Marie Worcester (Lind) on May 4th 1953 in Malden. Barry grew up in Malden and resided in Everett for most of his life. His was immensely proud of his Veteran status, serving in the U.S. Army for 2 years, stationed in North Korea. After his service, Barry became a master plasterer and retired after 30 years in the field.
During his life, Barry enjoyed golfing, camping, and spending time at the local social clubs, where he made many good friends over the years and also became famous for his karaoke rendition of "Mustang Sally" and "I Feel Good". Barry will also be greatly missed by his sister in-law Jodi Maddaleni and her husband Andy, brother-in-law Billy and his wife Kelli as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, November 15th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Committal Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Homes for our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton, MA 02780
