Mrs. Jameson was a very talented and gifted piano teacher who gave many young children, including myself, an accessible and affordable opportunity to learn and appreciate the piano. She taught me from ages 7-14. I will always remember her teaching method, patience and kindness, as she welcomed her students into her home (I especially loved her piano recitals - fruit punch, pastries, etc. - so sweet!). She taught me everything I know about Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Mozart (although, the rare occasion to play her pipe organ was always the most "exciting" to me 😊). I still have my original piano lesson books with her handwritten notes and will pass onto my children.

I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to visit her a few years ago at her nursing home and let her know how much she impacted me over the years. Not sure she remembered who I was, but it was nice to see her during her later years.

Sending my condolences to her family, friends and former piano students. Her memory and music will always live on in my heart. 🎵

Rest In Peace, Mrs. Jameson.

Mrs. Jameson was a treasure and will be missed. Going to her home for classes was a peaceful respite from 4th grade until college. She instilled a love of classical music, discipline and a bit of grace that has stayed with me and is now being taught to my own girls. In later years, we loved hearing her political views and receiving her hand-made Christmas cards. I am so grateful Mrs. Jameson was part of my life and our family will always remember and pray for her with a warm heart.

A heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Jameson for teaching me the joys of classical music, for her endless patience as a dedicated teacher, and for sharing her piano virtuosity so generously. She will never be forgotten by this former student of many years ago.
